Welcome to the He's Alive Chapel family.

I am thrilled to welcome you to our first Europe based Church in Gillingham, Kent, U.K.

Our doors are open to all Bible believing Christians, especially those who share in our interest in Evangelism, Discipleship, Missions, Prayer, and strong Christian Family values.

Our vision since the past 27years has been towards the gathering of the endtime harvest, and we believe that a greater harvest still lies ahead of the Church in the nation's of the world. We invite you to partner with us so we can explore how we can effectively gather the Great harvest Jesus spoke about in John 4.

Idorenyin Monday Ekanem,

Idorenyin Monday Ekanem, also known as Hope, is the resident Pastor of He’s Alive Chapel, Gillingham, Kent. He is married to Veronika and they are blessed with two daughters – Grace and Elizabeth.

Hope has a Graduate Diploma in Kingdom Theology from the University of Chester, UK – having studied with the Westminster Theological Centre. He also has an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University UK; a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Gloucestershire, UK and a Diploma in Accountancy from Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Nigeria. In his day job, he currently works with a service-providing company in London.

Before coming over to the UK in 2010, Hope spent his early Christian years (and as a youth) in the Ministry of He’s Alive Chapel, Lagos, Nigeria – under the leadership of his spiritual father and mentor, Pastor Austen Ukachi. From 2010 to 2016 he served as an Elder at Destiny Christian Centre, London, under the leadership of Dr. Jerome Anekwe.

In December 2016, Hope and his family moved from London to Gillingham, Kent to start the work God had instructed him to carry out, under the umbrella of He’s Alive Chapel.

Hope is passionate about prayer, evangelism, missions, discipleship, raising healthy families, and youth development. He invites you to be part of what God is doing through the Ministry of He’s Alive Chapel in the City of Gillingham, Kent.

Austen Ukachi

Austen Ukachi has been involved in Intercession, Missions, Leadership, and the quest for revival at the national and continental levels since 1977. He is one of the pioneers of the contemporary prayer movements in Nigeria and has pioneered the advancement of Intercession and Spiritual warfare in Africa. He was the national co-ordinator for Prayer, AD 2000 and Beyond Movement and the national co-ordinator, Global Day of Prayer.

He is the Continental Co-ordinator, Strategic Prayer and Intercessory Network (SPIN) for the Movement of National African Initiatives (MANI); the West African Regional Co-ordinator, International Prayer Council (IPC); an Executive Team Member, International Prayer Council (IPC); a member of the National Advisory Council of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN). He is the author of the History of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Revivals in Nigeria from 1914 to 1990s.

He is the Chairman, Watchman Ministries and Chairman of the Christian Evangelical Social Movement of Nigeria (CESM). He founded He's Alive Chapel in 1990 and is currently the Senior Pastor.

He is married to Oluyide Folasade. The marriage is blessed with four children
